Week in review

Turns out Audrey is not the cutest baby in Blo-No.  She lost in the first round, but we are all convinced there was some funny math involved.  That's ok, because Brian can't handle the stress of another round and Audrey said she wants her own dressing room stocked with blue M&M's now...

Funny thing, we've never put shoes on Audrey.  Turns out, according to her, they are the devil.  Wanted to enjoy the semi-warm weather this weekend, but when I put shoes on Audrey she freaked out- it was like watching an exocism!  She we compromised with slippers and she still wasn't happy.  Do you see what a diva we created?

Audrey and I went north to celebrate Uncle Kyle's birthday and have Easter brunch at the Country Club.  Enjoyed hanging out with all her cousins, but she got very jealous when I was holding the twins.

 

Audrey is very into books now and always wants you to read to her. 

 

This is a teary-eyed girl the first day we tried going outside.  I did get a video of her fit, but still can't figure out how to upload videos.

 

Second day was a little better, notice she just has socks on.

Cutest Baby?!?

Audrey has been entered in Mini Madness Contest to find the cutest baby in Bloomington-Normal.  I know everyone agrees that she is without a doubt the cutest baby, but please help us prove that.  Log onto the website below anytime Tuesday (tomorrow) to vote for her in the first round.  (It's like the basketball March Madness Tournament- so each week, there is more voting.)  She will win a photo shoot, college money and mom get some jewelry ;)

Audrey looks so old eating her breakfast; pancakes.  Notice the fork is just decoration :)

She enjoys going through my drawers.  Today she put on my swimsuit tops and had a good ole time.

Winter Wonderland

The first big snowfall in the new house occurred yesterday.  It wasn't much, but at least Brian got to use the snowthrower for the first time (bought it 2 years ago).

A good weekend

Brian had his first weekend off (minus those for vacations) since we met!  It was nice to have him home. 

I know that kids get sick a lot, but I had no idea it was non-stop, with no break.  Audrey got over her runny nose and swimmers ear only to develop nasty diarrhea that has lasted all weekend.  As you can imagine, her butt is fire engine red and she isn't happy about it.  Nothing wrong with her appetite though.

 

Ellie is doing much better.  She still has a gaping wound on her leg, but doesn't seem to bother her.  She likes to warm her butt by the fire now.
