Hawaii !!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Brian and I are enjoying an adults-only, anniversary, working vacation in Kauai this week.  Having a great time despite some rain off and on and high winds that caused a turbulent flight and landing.

We went ziplining but rained/poured on us off and on the whole time.  This is my mad face for paying money to stand in the rain.

 All in all, it was a great trip.  Happy anniversary to us.   A great way to turn 37.  Many thanks to my Mom and Dad for caring for our children while we are away.  Maybe another 5 years we'll be back :)

Happy New Year!

Happy 2017!  We had another great weekend.  I took the girls to see the movie Sing.  It was Evelyn's first movie and she fell asleep at the grand finale.  Sam got to hang out with G&G Taylor.  We were all in bed by 10pm - since Sam likes to get up at 6am on the weekends.  New year's day we took advantage of a relatively nice day and went hiking at Starved Rock.
