More progress

We got some much-needed help from Mom today and got a lot of things organized and put away.  Just a little bit more to do.

The weekend

Sunday, we had dinner at Mom and Dad's house with the family and then went to visit with high school friends and families.

Cereal

Audrey got her first taste of something other than breastmilk today.  She did not really get the hang of the spoon or swallow much of what she got, but seemed to like it.  Most ended up on her bib.

Brian and I continued to move all the little things from the old house today.  Waiting for the basement sealer to dry so we can start putting some things down there.  I think it's going to take us 6 months to get everything in its place.

Brian and I have been working little by little on getting things organized and finishing moving things in.  About a dozen boxes in the garage to go through.

Moving weekend

We've moved!  50 yards south :)

It was a long, hot weekend, but we got most of our stuff moved over from the house and garage.  Thanks a bunch for our moving crew.

 Mom got the fun job of organizing the kitchen.  It is the dream job for a perfectionist with OCD.

This is only a tenth of the kitchen mess.  Every time she emptied the counter, we'd fill it up again.

It feels like we are staying in a hotel.  Its so nice and big.  I love it!

We got our occupancy permit today and except for a few minor items, it is done!
All that's left is the hard part ;)

Week 25- Wednesday

Carpet was installed today.  It really looks like a move-in ready house now!  So excited!  ADT also came out to install the outdoor speaker - they would not hook up Brian's police light bar, though that would be cool.
