Another rainy weekend...

Well, this rain is getting old...

 

Audrey wanted to help wash the dishes.

I finally finished our wedding quilt.  (only took 2 1/2 years)

7pm.  This is what happens when she refuses to nap during the day.  I'm going to be in trouble tonight :(

Memorial weekend

It was a rainy weekend and didn't get a whole lot done.  Mom and Dad came down Saturday to plant some stuff in the garden.  I worked at Prompt Care on Sunday and Audrey and I went with Dad to see Grandpa Stevens on Monday.

  The radishes came up in 2 days, I picked about 1/3 thinking they were weeds- I didn't think anything could grow that fast!

Audrey has a strange habit of eating non-edible things.  We call her Mud Mouth now, but she isn't picky; she's also eaten rocks, sands, sticks, dandelions, etc. 

Discovered a new pet in the garage.  Decided to let him be as the mice are running amuck in the garage- maybe he/she can earn his keep.

Sixth sense or coincidence?

Friday night Audrey woke up from a sound sleep screaming and it took longer than usual to calm her down.  Not long after I get a call that Brian was in a car accident at work.  I may be reading too much into it, but seems like a spooky coincidence that she woke at almost the same time the accident occured.  Brian is fine, thankfully.  He was hit by a drunk driver going the wrong way on the highway.

 

Audrey is enjoying some ice cream.  She is all smiles until the cup is empty :)

I think she is checking the computers temperature.

Our new clothes line - the plan is to grow vines on the ends.

Girls Rule!

Brian will be far outnumbered come September.  Looks like baby #2 is another girl!  Everything looked good on ultrasound and I'm feeling great.

 

Audrey is proud of her mud stains.  She's a true country girl.

Brian did some "yard" work this week.  (is it still considered a yard if its 10 acres?)  Filled in the holes in the yard with dirt.  Smoothed everything out and spread some grass seed.  Happy for the rain now as we need this grass to grow!

Rain, rain

Cloudy and rainy all week.  Luckily, the basement stayed dry.  We are ready for spring!

Audrey had a rough night on Friday when her head seemed to be attracted to hard objects- got a bloody nose from one hit- poor girl.  We decided to open the doctor kit to play with since going outside was a bust. 

 

Beautiful Sunday

Audrey and I took advantage of the sunny and warm weather today and hung out outside for most of the day.

 

Brian, with the help of Jason, put up chair rail in the dining room.  It looks good!
