Beautiful day

What a beautiful weekend!  Dad got some of the garden planted.  Brian got the yard mowed.  The kids loved being outside.

Sam went to the doctor last week for his 2 month check up.  He is a hefty boy weighing 14lbs 1oz and 24 in long.  He is 3lbs heavier than Audrey and 2lbs heavier than Evelyn at this age.  He also got shots and did not enjoy them.  He started daycare for 1 1/2 days this week and did great.

busy weekend

We had a busy weekend spending time at Mom and Dad's.  Had an early party for Audrey's birthday.  She had her cousins over to play and a few slept-over.  She wanted a frog cake this year and also wanted to swim.  (swimming didn't work out- don't get me started)  We went to brunch on Sunday-that was delicious.  Audrey got her face painted.  Evelyn was having a bad weekend and refused to have fun. 

Sam is 6 weeks old today and either has a touch of colic or doesn't like something I'm eating.  Unfortunately the leading suspect is M&M's - gasp!!!!  Very sad I have to go back to work tomorrow.

 

 

More work on the yard.  Wall starting to be built and cut down further on the window wells.

Girls are being silly

Sam is 5 weeks old.  Got a few smiles today.

We have some exciting spring-time home improvement projects coming.  The first one started today.  We are making the basement windows look-outs so we get more light downstairs.

The girls had a camp-in last weekend.  Things we learned; 1.  Any story involving the woods is scary according to Audrey.  2. The girls sleeping together results in a very late bedtime.  3.  They sleep all night when on a hard floor and no blinds on the windows.

Sam is 1 month old today.  He is a little chunker.  We now get one 4-hour stretch at night - followed by up every hour, it seems.  He has been very fussy the past 3 days - always wants to be held and still cries, but today is better so fingers crossed that was a short-lived phase.

3 weeks old

Mr Sam is 3 weeks old today!  Not a lot has changed except filling out more.

 

Make your own pizza night was a success except Evelyn fell asleep right before so didn't get to help.
