4 months

Sam is 4 months old now and is a tank.  He was 84th percentile for height and 86th percentile for weight.  He started sleeping through the night 1 month ago which makes me so happy!  (If only Evelyn could sleep through the night...)  He still very much likes to be held and will only tolerate not being held a short amount of time.  He will also only tolerate his sisters in his face a short amount of time.  They love him still and whenever he cries Evelyn sings to him - though her singing voice is like a cat getting its tail pulled.  And Audrey is a little jealous he gets any attention and often wants to be the baby again.

Went to the pool this weekend and he wasn't a fan of sitting in the baby pool but loved being carried around the big pool.  Tried to put a swim shirt on him and it rolled up like an old window shade.

The grass is coming in nicely here.  Still waiting for the siding to be completed - we're told Wednesday may be the day.

These were taken yesterday, seconds apart.  Audrey is in her winter coat and Evelyn is in short-sleeves - neither was dressed for the weather.  I had some good helpers planting and watering the flowers.

 

Getting the concrete extended on the driveway and adding a basketball pole.  Very excited!

 

3 months old!

This handsome devil is 3 months old now!  He is finally healthy and fingers crossed he stays that way.  And thankfully we are back to only getting up once per night.  Holding his head up really well.

Grandma Darlene moved to Fairbury this week.  We stopped by to see her and play some Bingo!

Then we went to the park with our new friend Claire (co-worker's daughter).  Evelyn became her BFF immediately, Audrey needed some warming up but was then sad she couldn't come home with us.

Sam slept the entire morning and most of the past 3 days.  I think he is going through a growth spurt; we are quickly outgrowing the 3-6 month clothes.

We finally got some more work done on the yard.  Just need the siding put up now.

What a beautiful weekend!  Dad got some of the garden planted.  Brian got the yard mowed.  The kids loved being outside.

Sam went to the doctor last week for his 2 month check up.  He is a hefty boy weighing 14lbs 1oz and 24 in long.  He is 3lbs heavier than Audrey and 2lbs heavier than Evelyn at this age.  He also got shots and did not enjoy them.  He started daycare for 1 1/2 days this week and did great.
