Beautiful day! and the day we got sunburned

Yesterday was a beautiful day at the beach- started out a little chilly, but warmed up nicely. Audrey got a little too pink and Brian and I have some areas of burn.

We went to Pirate Voyage dinner/show last night. It was an awesome show. Audrey loved the mermaids, seals, skeletons and both girls loved seeing "Bessie" - the black lab that jumped into the water and the tropical birds flying around.

We ended the night with cake and family to celebrate Will's 7th birthday :)

Myrtle Beach!

I am working hard this week... at the beach. Attending a conference and I travel with a big posse. Brian and the girls, my parents, Jodi, Emmy came with and Tim's family happens to be here also.

Evelyn did great on the plane, just fussed a little before landing and then fell asleep.

Brian and I went on a date for fondue and mini-golf. (I won, of course)

Our first night here, Evelyn screamed in the night for 3.5 hours. Kept everyone awake and this picture is the next night, passed out early and slept all night - thankfully!

The view from our balcony. Pools are heated and feel good. If the wind isn't blowing, it feels great. If it is blowing, its a little chilly when you get out.

Dentist and other stuff

Audrey had her first trip to the dentist this week. She needed about 3 minutes to warm up and then did great.

So as a reward, she got a new bike!
You probably have two questions about this picture:
1. Where is her helmet?
2. Who dresses her?
She got a new helmet also and it didn't even last the night before Bessie chewed it up.
She has a love for changing her clothes frequently. It's obvious she doesn't have to do the laundry.

You know you live in a small town when you see a tractor going through the carwash.

We played for 2 hours at the park on Saturday, so these guys were wiped out and actually slept together for the first time. It did not work two days in a row, they just played and had to be separated on Sunday for naptime.
