Myrtle Beach!

I am working hard this week... at the beach.  Attending a conference and I travel with a big posse.  Brian and the girls, my parents, Jodi, Emmy came with and Tim's family happens to be here also.

 

Evelyn did great on the plane, just fussed a little before landing and then fell asleep.

Brian and I went on a date for fondue and mini-golf.  (I won, of course)

Our first night here, Evelyn screamed in the night for 3.5 hours.  Kept everyone awake and this picture is the next night, passed out early and slept all night - thankfully!



The view from our balcony.  Pools are heated and feel good.  If the wind isn't blowing, it feels great.  If it is blowing, its a little chilly when you get out.

Dentist and other stuff

Audrey had her first trip to the dentist this week.  She needed about 3 minutes to warm up and then did great.

So as a reward, she got a new bike! 
You probably have two questions about this picture:
1. Where is her helmet?
2. Who dresses her?
She got a new helmet also and it didn't even last the night before Bessie chewed it up.
She has a love for changing her clothes frequently.  It's obvious she doesn't have to do the laundry.

You know you live in a small town when you see a tractor going through the carwash.

We played for 2 hours at the park on Saturday, so these guys were wiped out and actually slept together for the first time.  It did not work two days in a row, they just played and had to be separated on Sunday for naptime.

We had a nice Easter weekend.  Had an egg hunt at Mom and Dad's house with the cousins and went to brunch on Sunday with everyone.

Audrey is 3!

Audrey had a great birthday today.  We had family and friends over for pizza, presents and cake.  She played all day long.  When she laid down for her nap, she asked, 'when I wake up, will it still be my birthday?'  But she decided napping was cutting into her special day, so skipped that.

the weekend

After 30-some years, I have gotten my first new set of bedroom furniture.  Makes our big room seem a little small and, surprisingly, all our stuff fits!

 

We got a visit from Mike, Jodi and kids this weekend.  Audrey and Emmy played beautifully together, which is good because in 1 month they will be each other's company at the beach :)

Grand Bear Lodge and woos of sleeping

Last weekend we went to Grand Bear Lodge to their indoor waterpark and amusement center.  Audrey had a great time in the water and Evelyn enjoyed herself the first day, but decided two days in a row was too much. 

 

I also wanted to put some pictures on here to remind myself that though sleep is rare, it does happen sometimes. 

This is usually how the night end, both girls in our bed.
